Tennis - Spanish tennis player Roberto Bautista Agut has taken a stand against homophobia and has supported the International Day against Homophobia in Sport by wearing rainbow coloured laces on his sneakers. As per Cascara Amara, The International Day against Homophobia in Sport is an initiative to honour Justin Fashanu, the first and so far only active professional footballer who has come out as gay.
On his stand, Bautista Agut commented, "Discrimination based on sexual orientation should not be tolerated in any sphere, let alone sport, because it is inconsistent with the values of sport that enhance participation, respect and integration."
