Through his official Twitter account the World No. 58 Yoshihito Nishioka announced he has a tear of the Anterior Cruciate Ligament in his left knee, which will force him to stop competing for a time between five and seven months.

The 21-year-old Japanese player will undergo surgery in Tokyo on 4th April and assured he 'will do everything I can to come back even stronger. I will start my rehab as soon as possible', wrote Nishioka, who got injured during his match against the American Jack Sock in Miami.

Nick Kyrgios had a beautiful message for his mate: 'Bro, I'm so sorry to hear about this. Stay strong, you'll be back better than ever before you know It. I wish you a speedy recovery mate.'
