Tennis - Boris Becker says if he had even half of the work ethic, footwork and attitude of David Ferrer, then he would have won many more Grand Slams in his career. Becker was congratulating the Spaniard for winning his 714th career match this week in Cincinnati and overtaking the German for reaching the No.

12 spot on the list of players with all-time wins. While Ferrer responded with a thank you message to the German, Becker complimented the Spaniard, saying 'If I would have half your work ethic/footwork/attitude,I would have won lots more GS ....good luck in Cincinnati,see u in NYC".

Becker won six Grand Slams during his career whereas Ferrer has yet to win a major. The Spaniard is often regarded as one of the best male players never to win a Grand Slam.
