Tennis - Novak Djokovic has canceled the behind-the-scenes documentary on his life that was being filmed by Amazon Prime. The Serbian player and Amazon Prime had been working together since the beginning of the 2017 season while covering Djokovic on and off the court in his attempt to get back to the top of the men's game after some unexpected defeats in 2016 post his ground-breaking French Open triumph last June.
The documentary was also slated to cover his personal life and his charity foundation. But the Serb has struggled on the court this year and has not played since Wimbledon due to an elbow injury. He announced post-Wimbledon that he was taking a break from the circuit in order to heal his elbow and return to the tour in early 2018.
According to The Daily Mail, the news comes just as Djokovic has started hitting tennis balls as he aims to be fit for the Australian summer circuit. A considerable amount of time and money has already been invested in the documentary.
