After winning his biggest career-title nearly two weeks ago in London at the ATP Finals beating the Belgian David Goffin in three sets in the final, Grigor Dimitrov flew to The Bahamas to play Necker Cup, a charity exhibition event where professional ATP/WTA tennis players and Legends are paired up with amateur teams of all levels. This year the tournament was played from 27 November to 1 December. Over the years it has raised more than three million dollars.
Also, all guests, Pros and Celebrities, attend the final night gala dinner and auction, where 100% of the money raised goes to the charities' event. This year Dimitrov, Janko Tipsarevic, Nicole Gibbs, David Nalbandian, Justine Henin and coach Brad Gilbert went there.
Dimitrov will start his new season at Brisbane, where earlier this year he won the title beating Kei Nishikori in the final. Then he will head to the Australian Open, first Grand Slam of the year.
