Strange thing happened in Bologna, Northern of Italy, earlier this week. Due to unfortunate circumstances, the eight-time Grand Slam champion Jimmy Connors couldn't book a tennis court in the most exclusive tennis club in the city “Giardini Margherita”.
Probably Connors' agent asked, from the Majestic Hotel, if they could host a "very famous and prestigious client" for a hit, but the name wasn't initially revealed and the club would have replied: 'Nope, we only take members, no private people without the card.' Only a few days after the president of the Club realized that was Connors, but "Jimbo" had left the city.
He clarified that they didn't know who he was as the "very famous" client was anonymous. The five-time US Open champion had to hit in the more friendly "Nettuno club" in Bologna. He was there due to an event with his endorsement car Lamborghini.
