Dominic Thiem and more players raise money playing charity football match

One of Dominic Thiem's big passion is the football. The Austrian player is a very passionate FC Chelsea fan and once he said that if he could, he would visit all the football stadiums in the World. In November he played a charity football match featuring Aljaz Bedene, Blaž Kavčič, Blaz Rola, former player Grega Zemlja and other players, coaches played.

Thiem's team 1. TFC Matzendorf beat the team of Zemlja 3-1 in Brdo, Slovenia. Thiem, who ended his season at the ATP Finals in London, thanked organizers of the event, which means the Slovenian tennis federation, and added: 'It's really unbelievable the kind of match hosted.

Players felt like real professional footballers, which may have helped us win. We'll try to organize something similar next year in April.' Almost 300 spectators attended the match.
