Caroline Wozniacki set to visit Hobbiton in New Zealand

Caroline Wozniacki wants to enjoy herself on the tennis court, but off it as well. The World No. 3 asked organizers of the WTA Auckland event, which will be played from 1 to 6 January, to arrange a side trip to Matamata, to visit Hobbiton, as a big fan of Lord of the Rings trilogy.

'I love Auckland', Wozniacki told Newstalk ZB early this week. 'It's an amazing tournament and there are so many things to want to go and see. Hobbiton is definitely one of the things I haven't seen and would love to see ...

so we'll see.' Wozniacki praised the tournament's work, including tournament director Karl Budge, who 'takes such great care of us when we are there', she said laughing. 'I'm expecting big things out of Karl this year ...

he has been great at showing us around.' Wozniacki reached 2015 final in Auckland, in 2018 she will lead the field as the main favorite. ALSO READ: WTA Entry Lists: Venus Williams and Konta in Sydney, Mertens in Hobart .
