Alizè Cornet's hearing for missing doping tests postponed

Alize Cornet's hearing for missing three doping tests has been postponed to the 1st of May, according to L'Equipe. It will take place in London. Cornet will submit her defense in front of an independent tribunal, her lawyer Alexis Gramblat said.

'There are valid reasons that ITF still didn't want to listen to', the French player had said in late January when the news came out. Post the hearing and the verdict, if the latter goes against her, Cornet could appeal to the Court of Arbitration of Sport.

In February, Cornet had explained why she had missed those tests. ALSO READ: Roger Federer: 'I am a clay-court player'
