Ivan Lendl is keen to re-start his coaching career after ending his second stint as Andy Murray's coach in November 2017, according to a report published in the Times. Murray and Lendl had joined forces for the second time (after initially parting ways in 2014), in 2016 and had enjoyed a successful collaboration the second time as well.
The British player won his second Wimbledon title and became the world no. 1 for the first time under Lendl's guidance. While Lendl is currently waiting to start off again as a coach, he is also working with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) to mentor the junior players.
If, and when, Lendl does start coaching a player on the Tour again, there won't be problems with respect to his role with the USTA. ALSO READ: Dominic Thiem chooses Rafael Nadal over Roger Federer
