Dominic Thiem's three sets win over Andrey Rublev was one of the best matches of the day at the Monte Carlo Masters on Tuesday. The Austrian prevailed 5-7, 7-5, 7-5 after two hours and 42 minutes, saving a match point. After the match, Thiem dedicated the win to his girlfriend Kristina Mladenovic, signing a 'K' surrounded by a heart on the camera.
The French player, who is playing the Fed Cup semi-final against the US this weekend was delighted with her boyfriend's success, and on Instagram, she wrote: 'My prince of clay is back. Fighter,' paying tribute to Thiem.
