Nike leaves Bernard Tomic as the Australian finds new sponsor

Bernard Tomic had a great week at the French Open, winning all the three qualies match without losing any set. First against Darian King 7-6(4) 6-0, then against Jay Clarke 6-3 6-1 and on Friday Goncailo Oliveira 7-6(5) 7-5.

French Open was the first tournament for Tomic wearing a new brand apparel, Lotto, as his long-time endorsement Nike is not partnering with him anymore. It's unclear whether the contract expired or if the American company decided to leave Tomic earlier than planned due to the recent Australian's bad results that made him leave the top 200 rankings.

It could have been an extra motivation for Bernard to perform well in Paris. Last year his contract with HEAD was interrupted due to his lack of effort at Wimbledon. ALSO READ: Revealed: Roger Federer's Stuttgart and Halle outfit (Pics Inside)
