Roberta Vinci's trophies stolen, French Open gives her a replacement

Great news for Roberta Vinci. The former Italian tennis player received her 2012 French Open doubles trophy that was stolen from her home in August 2017. That year, she won the title alongside her compatriot Sara Errani, beating the Russian duo of Nadia Petrova and Maria Kirilenko 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.

Vinci also reached the 2013 and 2014 finals. Vinci got a replacement of her 2016 St. Petersburg singles title (her last one in career) and 2012 US Open doubles title. She retired from tennis in May 2016 and in the short-term future, plans to join the technical team of the Italian tennis federation.
