Happy news for Radek Stepanek and Nicole Vaidisova. Last week, they became parents for the first time and on this Tuesday they made the announcement on their social media channels posting a photo of their three hands together.
'On July 6th at 16:31 our world was turned upside down when we saw our beautiful daughter for the first time... Healthy, happy and with a head full of hair she is everything we could have wished for and more..welcome to the world Stella,' Stepanek and Vaidisova wrote.
They got re-married in May. Radek, who retired in 2017, was ranked as high as eighth in the world, while Vaidisova achieved a career-high ranking at no. 7. Recently, speaking about his split with the Serb Novak Djokovic in March, Stepanek said: 'Even if my first coaching experience lasted for a less time, I had the big chance to work with one of the best players of all-time.
I was on the same team as Andre Agassi, who I had known especially as an opponent,' Stepanek wrote. 'It's a pity that our views with Novak changed so often, so our co-operation ended. But I could closely see how Andre works, looking at his amazing sense of tennis and empathy for every situation, and his amazing kindness.'
