Jo-Wilfried Tsonga secretly got married on Saturday to his longtime partner Noura, who gave birth to their son called Shugar in March 2017. The wedding took place in Château de Bagnols, France, near Villefranche-sur-Saône.
Among special guests from tennis, there was Lucas Pouille who withdrew from Hamburg and Pierre-Hugues Herbert. In a recent interview to RTL, Tsonga spoke about his potential return to the Tour. This year he played just two tournaments, Australian Open and Montpellier, then he hurt his knee and has now dropped to the 64th place in the ATP Rankings.
'I still have something to give on courts,' the 33-year-old assured. 'I will try to do even better than the past. I hope to be at the US Open.' Tsonga underwent a minor surgery in his left meniscus in March.
He is in a happy state mentally. 'I spend time with my family and friends, I recharged batteries and I will be back stronger'. Now with a sweet and nice wife alongside him. Last weekend, Grigor Dimitrov's coach Dani Vallverdu also got married.
The six-time Grand Slam champion Boris Becker and Andy Murray, who worked with Vallverdu, attended the wedding. Here below a picture posted by the German.
