Tommy Haas feels proud for the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells to get the Masters 1000 Player's Favorite of the Year award for the fifth time in a row. 'We are honoured and humbled that for the fifth straight year, our event has been recognized by the players as Tournament of the Year.
Our entire staff works incredibly hard to deliver a world-class experience, and our goal will be to make the 2019 event even better this March', said Haas. Stockholm Open was named as best ATP 250 and the Tournament Director Simon Aspelin shared his happiness.
'I would like to thank all the guys who were involved in the plan and making the event this year. It was very funny and a pleasure to get this prize from players because we work hard so that players feel like home and get a world class service.
I would also like to share my special thanks to our trustable sponsors, and last but not least important, to our amazing partners who make the event possible and push us to improve every year.' Stephen Farrow, Queen's tournament director said: 'Hugely proud of our amazing team @QueensTennis for winning the 2018 ATP 500 Tournament of the Year Award.
Thank you to all the players of @ATPWorldTour for your support.' This is the time of the year where negotiations for the 2019 season start, and several tournaments, including Halle (that takes place in the same week as Queen's), are at the ATP Finals in London to negotiate with players.
