It's Emporio Armani the new Fabio Fognini's apparel endorsement. From January 1 2019 the world No. 13 will the global ambassador of the famous Italian brand, both for the sports line EA7 and underwear. Fognini and also his wife, the 2015 US Open champion Flavia Pennetta, signed a multi-year deal with Armani.
Fognini probably had the best season in his career this year, equalling his career-high ranking at No. 13 and winning three titles: Sao Paulo and Bastad on clay, Los Cabos on hard. In 2014 Fognini had attended the Fashion Week in Milan wearing Giorgio Armani outfits and meeting the stylist in person.
In the past also Filippo Volandri was the EA7 Ambassador. Fabio will be the only tennis player wore by Armani, he enjoyed some free days in Turkey Caycos and already moved to Miami to start the pre-season training in Miami with his coach Franco Davin, who is 2019 will be joined by Italy's Davis Cup team captain Corrado Barazzutti.
Armani already shared the images of Fognini's Australian Open outfit. The 31-year-old will start the new season at the ASB Classic in Auckland.
