In an interview to Vogue David Lee revealed the details behind his engagement with the tennis player Caroline Wozniacki. The former basketball star said he asked Wozniacki's father and coach, Piotr, and only after that he proposed to Caroline.
David and Caroline got engaged after a romantic dinner while on holidays. "It was good execution. Even if we had just had had a normal dinner—it would have been one of the most beautiful things we’d ever done", said Lee.
Wozniacki revealed what she would like to do once her tennis career is ended: "I would love to have a big family and probably step away from a little from the spotlight. Acting could be so fun. Push my limits a little bit.” Wozniacki also spoke about how she deals with rheumatoid arthritis: "For me, it was important to know that I can handle this, I can still be a great athlete.
You think you’re the healthiest and the strongest, and you don’t think something like this can hit you. It doesn’t discriminate. It doesn’t matter whether you’re young, old, healthy, or not."
At the ASB Classic in Auckland last week Wozniacki defeated Laura Siegemund and then lost to the eventual finalist Bianca Andreescu 6-4 6-4. She will play the Australian Open next. ALSO READ: Rafael Nadal: Worse players than David Ferrer won a Grand Slam title
