Croatian tennis star Donna Vekic has bought a new house in Monte Carlo, which she says has been one of her dreams for a long time. Vekic has purchased an apartment in one of the downtown luxury skyscrapers on the twelfth floor, which has a balcony that is about seventy square meters and a small, modern kitchen with white furniture.
Speaking to Gloria Magazine, Vekic speaks about her apartment and her plans for Christmas in the interview. "I'll put it (the Christmas tree) on the balcony, my favorite place in the apartment. I drink coffee here, I eat, I relax ...
In the past six years, I changed three addresses in Monte Carlo, but only with this, I got everything I wanted: a spacious apartment with lots of daylight and sea views. I like white because it's refined and feminine. I found all the furniture in Monte Carlo, and I did not change the kitchen and the bathroom only, because then I would have to wait a long time to move in."
The 23-year-old Vekic says the house is a Christmas gift to herself and she certainly deserves the same after enjoying her most successful season on the tennis circuit to date. The 23-year-old finished the season at No. 19 in the world rankings, her highest ranking ever.
She also reached the quarter-finals of the US Open this year - the first time she has advanced to the last eight stages in a Grand Slam.
