It was 2016 when Kobe Bryant played his last professional basketball match, and when he crossed Roger Federer's path. In fact, the two were linked by the same brand, Nike.
To celebrate the retirement of the Los Angeles Lakers star, Nike wanted some of his brand best testimonials, such as Roger Federer, to wear commemorative personalized shoes with the date of the last match played by Kobe.

In addition, Federer and Bryant often communicated in front of all their fans and followers on Twitter. On that occasion Federer used emoction and the name of Kobe to send his personal tweet to the American for his retirement from basketball.

Bryant was a close friend of both Federer, Novak Djokovic and also recently of Naomi Osaka. Just Osaka wrote a beautiful and moving letter to Bryant in these hours, published on Twitter. Like her many other tennis players expressed their condolences for the tragic end of the American champion.
