Sandgren hit by a ball-boy in the match with Roger Federer!

Tennys Sandgren suffered a very particular injury during the quarterfinals of the Australian Open 2020 against Roger Federer. The American was accidentally hit by a ball-bay during the challenge; when players were reaching their court-side chairs a ball-boy ran into Sandgren, and his knee hit Sandgren's leg.

"Knee into my calf" said the American to the chair umpire. Federer immediately checked that his opponent was well, and when it was clear that the problem was not serious, the physiotherapist was not called. Federer won the match with the final score of 6-3 2-6 2-6 7-6 (8) 6-3, recovering a set of disadvantage, in 3 hours and 28 minutes of play.

The Swiss Mastro played a crazy challenge, risking the defeat in the fourth set, where he saved himself thanks to his service and his forehand, then winning at the tie-break. In the semifinal of the Australian Open 2020 Roger Federer will meet the winner of the match between Novak Djokovic and Milos Raonic.
