Rugby league star Robbie Farah has asked out Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard on a date via Twitter. 36 year old Farah, the Wests Tigers icon and former NSW hooker, who retired at the end of last season, is in Miami the SuperBowl game on Monday between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs.
He asked Bouchard for a date on Twitter with two tweets - the first one saying - '@geniebouchard surely you’re having a drink with me in Miami! [😘]' and the second one saying '@geniebouchard if I rub you do I get 3 wishes?' Bouchard has obliged a request for a date on Twitter in the past.
Three years ago at the 2017 Super Bowl, a fan named John Goehrke reached out to her on Twitter asking Bouchard if she would go on a date with him if the New England Patriots won the NFL’s championship game. Bouchard agreed to the date and the two went out on a few dates together that year.
Whether the Canadian agrees to Farah as well remains to be seen. There was no response from Bouchard currently. The former World No. 5 Bouchard reached the quarter finals of the WTA Auckland Open to start the year and then lost in the third round of the Australian Open qualifying and in the first round of the most recent ITF event in Newport Beach.
