Agnieszka Radwanska: I Prefer Variety Over Big Serving in Tennis

Former World No. 2 Agnieszka Radwanska says that she prefers to watch the women and men who play a more versatile game of tennis as compared to the big servers. According to Essentially Sports, in a recent interview, Radwanska, who was known for her versatile style of play, says, “There’s still a group of more technical players- Angie (Angelique Kerber), Barty, Bencic.

They present versatile style. They can speed up, slow down, play combination tennis. Something is happening. It’s worse for tennis when someone like Keys steps on the court. She can hit three aces in one game, but it’s more boring with her.

Just like with men. it’s a different thing to watch Djokovic vs Federer and Isner vs Querrey”. The Polish tennis star also announced that she is pregnant with her first child recently. The Pole was best known for her intelligent shot making on the court and won 20 career singles titles.

Her achievements include winning the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Fan Favourite Award six times and the Shot of the Year five times. She is also the first Polish player in the Open Era to reach a Grand Slam singles final (the 2012 Wimbledon Championships), the first Pole to win the WTA Finals (in 2015), the first Pole to claim a WTA singles title (the 2007 Nordea Nordic Light Open), and was one half of the first Polish team to win the Hopman Cup tournament.
