After an impressive run at the Australian Open, Alexander Zverev took a well-deserved break and enjoyed some time on the sea with his girlfriend, Brenda Patea. Besides this, the German didn’t forget to analyze his latest performances and set his mind straight on what is coming in his professional career.
Zverev had his share of twists and turns, starting from the end of 2019. Looking back, the young star has lost in the second match at Paris Masters — against Denis Shapovalov — but he compensated with a great run at the London ATP Finals, reaching semifinals, where he bowed down in front of Dominic Thiem.
After that impressive performance, Alexander lost each of the three matches played at the ATP Cup — versus De Minaur, Tsitsipas and, respectively, Shapovalov. After that negative strike, Sascha Zverev went on to reach the Australian Open semifinals, where he was stopped again by Thiem.
“No matter if you’re in the spotlight or the dark. You always have to remember what you were looking for when you started it all”. Zverev wrote on Instagram on Sunday. Given his shaky performances, it is hard to guess how Sascha will perform in the next tournament.
However, Acapulco is approaching and he has a lot of points to defend there. The German played the final last year, losing in straight sets against Nick Kyrgios. As Acapulco is starting only on 24th February, Alexander Zverev still has time to relax and spend time with his girlfriend, Brenda Patea — a German modeling star.
