Andrea Petkovic and Sam Groth Find Novel Ways to Deal with the Boredom

With the tennis tours being shutdown till the end of April at least, tennis players are finding novel ways to deal with the time out. Besides training, players are looking for other avenues to keep themselves engaged in productive ways.

Former Top 10 player Andrea Petkovic, of Germany, is following an online book club and says, "Head over to @racquetbookclub -> we started an online book club and we will show them all by having fun!" The first book they are reading is David Foster Wallace’s “String Theory” Meanwhile, retired Australian player and tennis commentator Sam Groth says he will be hosting a table tennis tournament at his home.

"Due to lack of live sport, I’m going to buy a table tennis table, move my couch and set it up in my lounge room. Entries for the tournament are now open, as are enquiries in regards to the broadcast rights. Thinking Saturday the 28th.
