ATP Chairman Andrea Gaudenzi says the "current intention is for them (the grass courts events) to be take place as scheduled." in a memo to sent out to former players, according to noted sports journalist Arash Madani, who writes for Sportsnet.
In a tweet he posted online, Madani says, "ATP Chairman Andrea Gaudenzi has sent a memo to former players. In part it reads: "We are in close discussion with all the grass-court events and the current intention is for them to be take place as scheduled.
At this time, we are looking towards the latter part of April for any decision to be made for events beyond the existing suspension." As of now, all professional tournaments on the ATP, WTA & ITF tournaments have been canceled till 7th June and the tour is scheduled to resume on June 8th in time for the grass court events.
However, there are growing concerns about sporting events being held in June and July as well due to the COVID-19 pandemic with even the Olympics undergoing a review of their plans. From the memo, it appears that the ATP will make a decision about the tournaments in June by the end of April
