Former World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki spoke about her experience when she went shopping for groceries on her social media account. The Dane said she had gone shopping for groceries at her local store and finally found a puzzle which was not sold out.
However, she added that someone stole it out of their cart even before she was able to check out and pay for her items. Wozniacki tweeted, "Went to the store to load up on groceries today! Finally found a puzzle that wasn’t sold out and someone steals it out of our cart before we even checked out🙄🤦🏼♀️" Wozniacki is in Denmark with her husband David Lee, who were in Africa as the crisis unfolded in Europe and the two immediately flew back home and have been in quarantine since then.
Her tweet also prompted a response from American tennis player Mardy Fish, who tweeted asking where her husband David was. The Dane announced her retirement from tennis earlier this year and played her final tournament at the Australian Open.
The 29 year old won 30 WTA singles titles in her career, including the 2018 Australian Open.
