Former World No. 5 Eugenie Bouchard has thanked her fans for helping her raise $85,000 as part of the All In Challenge’. Bouchard had offered a ‘fun tennis experience’ to the highest bidder and an opportunity to spend time with her to help raise funds for those impacted by the current crisis.

With the bidding complete, Bouchard has managed to raise $85,000 and posted a thank you message to her fans on Twitter. The bidding had started at $2,500. As part of the experience, the winner will be able to see the Canadian at any tournament from her player’s box.

He will then have dinner with her and receive a signed racquet from her. Bouchard is currently in Las Vegas during the quarantine period and has returned to the courts as tennis has been permitted in the region.

The former Wimbledon finalist Bouchard is now ranked outside the Top 300 in the world rankings.

In spite of her fall in the rankings, she remains one of the most popular figures on the tennis circuit among fans. She was one of many athletes to take part in the All in Challenge, including tennis stars Billie Jean King, Novak Djokovic and Andy Roddick.
