Chris Evert on why she loves two-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka

Tennis legend and 18-time Grand Slam singles champion Chris Evert says she is a big fan of two-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka. In a tweet responding to a post on Osaka, where she spoke about the difficulties she had getting used to the attention that has come with her success, Evert says, "I love @naomiosaka because she’s always authentic and introspective in becoming better, as a person and as a tennis player.

As I follow her journey, she already has become more evolved...💪👍👏💃You go girl! " In the interview, Osaka had said, "I just want to take the quarantine time to think about everything, and for me, I have a lot of regrets.

I've held my tongue and things kept moving in a way that I didn't really enjoy. I feel like if I asserted myself I would have gotten the opportunity to see what would have happened." She also spoke about how her shyness had made it difficult for her to have conversations with people.

Evert is one of the biggest legends in tennis and surely knows what it is to deal with all the attention and fame that came with being one of the first superstars in women's tennis along with Martina Navratilova in the Open era.
