The ATP Tour's social media team continues to keep fans engaged during the current lockdown in innovative ways. Their latest effort is a post showing players with hairstyles swapped. Those included in the post were Novak Djokovic and Dominic Thiem, Dustin Brown and Juan Martin Del Potro, Andy Murray and Jamie Murray, and Andre Agassi and Gustavo Kuerten.
World No. 1 Djokovic and World No. 3 Thiem both commented on the post. Djokovic, while tagging Thiem, says, "Thanks for the 'upgrade' of my hairstyle." Dominic Thiem said that the duo "could try that for the first tournament when the ATP tour is back."
Here is a look at the post from the ATP Tour's Instagram account.
Djokovic is ranked No.
1 in the world currently while Thiem is ranked No. 3 in the world. The two faced off in the final of the Australian Open in January earlier this year which the Serb won in five sets for his 17th Grand Slam singles title. Thiem is yet to win his first major on the circuit and has reached 3 Grand Slam singles finals in his career so far - at the 2018 French Open, 2019 French Open, and 2020 Australian Open, as well as two Grand Slam semifinals at the 2016 French Open and 2017 French Open. Last December, Thiem added blonde streaks to his hair which generated quite a buzz from the tenins fans.
