Former Argentine tennis player and coach Franco Davín, the former coach of Juan Martín del Potro and Gastón Gaudio and the current coach of British tennis player Kyle Edmund, has tested positive for the coronavirus a few days ago and is reportedly in good condition and is isolating in his home in Miami as per reports in the Argentinian media.

According to the GrupoLaProvincia website, Davin felt a bit unwell last weekend and decided to undergo a Covid-19 test. He received a positive result on a couple of days later.
The 50-year-old trains several professionals in Miami where he works alongside other coaches, including former Argentine WTA player Patricia Tarabini. After finding out about his positive result, Davín informed Tarabini and all others who were in close contact with him over the previous few days.
Davín has been living in Miami for several years, and lives with his wife, Mariana, and his children, Nacho and Juana, who are in good health. Davin is the latest figure from the tennis world to test positive for the coronavirus.
On Saturday, American player Frances Taifoe revealed that he had tested positive after his first match at an exhibition event in Atlanta. Several tennis players, including World No. 1 Novak Djokovic, Grigor Dimitrov, Brona Coric and Viktor Troicki tested positive after competing in the Adria Tour.
Franco Davín won his first ATP-tour match at 15 years, 1 month in Buenos Aires and holds the Open Era record for being the youngest player to win a tour level main draw match. Davín won three singles tournaments on the ATP Tour, and reached a career-high singles ranking of World No.
30 in October 1990. He coached fellow Argentine Juan Martín del Potro until July 2015 and was the captain of the Argentine Davis Cup team. While working with Davin, del Potro won the 2009 US Open. Davín also coached Gastón Gaudio when he won the 2004 French Open and Grigor Dimitrov from 2015 to 2016.
His best slam performance was reaching the quarterfinals of the 1991 French Open. Kyle Edmund is currently in the Unikted Kingdom and recently competed in an all-British event, where he lost in the final to Dan Evans.
