It's been a long time since her last success in the world of tennis, but Eugenie Bouchard continues to be very popular on social media. In this 2020 the Canadian has reached the final at the WTA tournament in Istanbul as the best result, a tournament where she was one step away from the title but beyond the sporting aspect, Bouchard continues to be one of the great figures of Canadian sport.
Through her social networks, the tennis player shared a graphic from CBC Sports where she was identified as the most tweeted Canadian athlete in 2020. A great satisfaction for Bouchard who ranked in front of the footballer Christine Sinclair, the other young and talented tennis player Bianca Andreescu, winner of 2019 US Open, wrestler Felicia Spencer and golfer Brooke Henderson.
