Caroline Wozniacki is pregnant: The Dane announceed the happy new with an Instagram post. Former tennis player revealed that she was expecting a baby girl, who will be born in June. Wozniacki waited before making the official statement.
Caroline and her housband David Lee will have their first daughter. Lee was a former basketball player. Caroline Wozniacki played in the WTA Tour between 2005 and 2020.
She is considered the strongest Danish tennis player in history and one of the strongest of the modern era. She was number one of the world for 71 weeks, from October 2010 through January 2012 and again in January 2018. She was the first player from a Scandinavian country to reach the top of the WTA rankings and to win a Grand Slam tournament: a feat accomplished with the win at the Australian Open 2018.
She has won 30 WTA tournaments in her career, including the 2017 WTA Finals and the Australian Open 2018. She also reached two other Grand Slam finals, both lost, at the US Open, in 2009 and 2014. In 2018 she was elected by the famous Forbes magazine as the most influential sportswoman in the world, thus becoming the first athlete in history to enter the top ten of the most powerful women in the world in sports.
