In tennis we must always evolve. Sport is dynamic and everyone trains a lot. Therefore staying the same is synonymous with taking a step back.
What we have learned the most in a tennis court is to keep fighting. We learn to stay in the game as much as possible, and to always believe in it and to try until the end.
3. GREAT ADAPTATION CAPACITY
Each tournament means a different surface, different balls, altitude, and temperature and so on and so forth. It also means playing a completely different opponent in each match. So, either you adapt to these new situations or you don't stay in the tournament.
4. KNOWING TO LISTEN
The one who commands and always has the last word is the coach. Knowing how to listen and having the humility to accept advice is taking a giant step to be successful.
5. KNOWING HOW TO ACCEPT ERRORS
Tennis is a sport of errors. Learning to accept that making errors is normal but that we will fight to make fewer and fewer errors is the perfect formula for success.
6. ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD
If I'm wrong, there is always a next point ahead of you.
If we continue to suffer after every point, or a set or a lost game we will not evolve and we will not improve. The formula is simple:
I stay on the error => angry,
Analyze error => forget and improve.
7. BEARING LONELINESS
It looks like travelling to beautiful and more beautiful places, but the life of the tennis player is lonely. We have to learn to live with ourselves. So first of all feel good about ourselves!
8. LEARN TO LOSE
In a successful career, you lose many times more than you win. Each week only one person wins.
All the other 31, 63 or 127 on the board lose.
9. FALLING YES BUT ALWAYS GET UP!
No defeat is big enough to label you.
Get up, accept that you played badly and work even harder on your errors so they don't repeat themselves.
Every Monday you have a new chance. This is the beauty of tennis.
10. A LITTLE OF HEALTHY MADNESS
Ahhhhhhhhhh! Without madness, the world is too boring.
Without madmen, tennis is monotony.
Long live the fools!!!!
Don't take all the 24 hours seriously!
