Reports Indicate that Victoria Azarenka Could be Back in Time for Wimbledon

Tennis - Is Victoria Azarenka planning a comeback in time for the grass court season instead of the hard court season? The former World No. 1 has earlier stated that she would makke her comeback at the WTA event in Stanford ahead of the US Open.

But reports indicate that the Belarusian could be back at the WTA Mallorca Open in July. In a press release by the tournament, Tournament Director Toni Nadal has said that he will make a major player announcement on May 24th for the tournament saying that he will announce a Top Sensation.

While no names have been officially provided, reports amongst tennis circles indicate that Azarenka could be the player Nadal is referring to. Azarenka has not played since March last year and gave birth to her first child, Leo, at the end of the year.
