Coach Gunter Bresnik will also be working with Elina Svitolina in 2022, per Jose Morgado. Bresnik is a member of Gael Monfils' coaching staff and now he is set to also work with the Frenchman's wife.
Svitolina, a former world No. 3, recently split with her long-term coach Andrew Bettles. "After 5 years and 11 titles together!! Andy and I both agreed it was the right time to move our separate ways.
Monfils' coach Gunther Bresnik will also be in Svitolina's team for 2022.

I am very thankful for all his hard work and endless support. I wish him only the best in his future career!" Svitolina announced in a Twitter post in late October.
Svitlina praised Monfils for being a great support
Svitolina, who married Monfils this year, was asked recently if she and Monfils coach each other.
"I have my coach for that. Gael, he’s more like a supporting person for me, for sure. We chat a lot about tennis,” Svitolina said. "But, you know, it goes either way. I also support him. He has his coaching team as well.
We’re not really coaching each other. It’s more massive support that we have for each other. That’s pretty much it." Svitolina and Monfils both had disappointing ends to the season. Svitolina suffered a shock loss to Camila Osorio in her Tenerife opener, while Monfils was forced to give a walkover to Novak Djokovic in the Paris Masters round-of-16.
"I’m frustrated, because once again, I love playing against the top players, and it's always a good experience to play against Novak to see at what level you are,” Monfils said after the walkover. "Honestly, I lost 17 times against him.
I had nothing to lose, so I had everything to win. "Yesterday the ultrasound was not great. This morning we did another ultrasound, it was not fantastic either... horrible frustration, because all of my family, my relatives are here.
"It would have been fantastic, but I hope I will have the possibility to play him again and to bother him or even beat him."
