Bianca Andreescu reveals her wish ahead of Bibi's Got Game release

Former world No. 4 Bianca Andreescu has expressed her hope that the upcoming release of her book "Bibi's Got Game" will inspire other kids to follow their dreams. Andreescu's children book is scheduled for a May 31 release and the former US Open champion is ecstatic about it.

e "My author copies of Bibi’s Got Game just arrived! For my first picture book, I wanted to share my story and how meditation (and my dog, Coco) keep me focused. Maybe it will inspire other kids to follow their dreams!

I was so excited to see them, and to work with @mbleatherdale , @chelseaobyrne , and @tundrabooks. Ball’s in your court!" Andreescu wrote on Instagram.

Andreescu hasn't played any events in 2022

In December, Andreescu opened on how 2022 was difficult for her and announced she would be out indefinitely.

"A lot of days, I did not feel like myself, especially while I was training and/or playing matches. I felt like I was carrying the world on my shoulders. I could not detach myself from everything that was going on and off the court; was feeling the collective sadness and turmoil around and it took its toll on me," Andreescu explained in a Twitter post.

In February, Andreescu went to Costa Rica, where she attended the Wisom and Well-being program. "Wow. My time @bluespiritcostarica during the Wisdom and Well-being Program was unforgettable!! I went there to rediscover myself and have some alone time but it turned out to be so much more… I met many incredible people, experienced new things, the speakers/ teachers down there taught me so much, and most importantly I had lots of fun.

Can’t wait to come back!" Andreescu captioned her Instagram post from February. Andreescu hasn't played since losing to Anett Kontaveit in the Indian Wells Masters second round last October.
