Tennis - Australians Casey Dellacqua and Ashleigh Barty reach women´s doubles semi-finals

Tennis - 12th seeds Ashleigh Barty and Casey Dellacqua are through to the semi-finals of the women's doubles at Wimbledon after a win over second seeds Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka, 26 62 64. The Australians also won the WTA event in Birmingham two weeks ago and are now on an eight match winning streak on grass.

Barty and Dellacqua are one win away from reaching their second grand slam final, having made the finals in Melbourne in January. They next meet seventh seeds Anna-Lena Groenefeld and Kveta Peschke, who upset third seeds Nadia Petrova and Katrina Srebotnik 7-6, 6-3.

In the other semi-final, eighth-seeded Hsieh Su-Wei and Peng Shuai will meet Shuko Aoyama and Chanelle Scheepers. Hsieh and Peng beat Jelena Jankovic and Mirjana Lucic-Baroni, 64 75, while Aoyama and Scheepers beat 16th-seeded Julia Goerges and Barbora Zahlavova Strycova, 76(6) 57 64.
