2022 US Open champion to compete at Transylvania Open

Barbora Krejcikova, freshly crowned US Open doubles champion and former Roland Garros winner in 2021, announced her participation at Transylvania Open, a WTA 250 tournament set to take place between 8 and 16 October 2022.

Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova have won the US Open women's doubles title and have completed the Career Grand Slam as a pair. In the US Open women's doubles final, third-seeded Krejcikova and Siniakova defeated Caty McNally and Taylor Townsend 3-6 7-5 6-1.
