Emma Raducanu was craving some water after a tense workout so she reached out for her Evian bottle as soon as her practice was finished. After taking a big glug of water, a thirsty Raducanu realized that it was a sparkling water bottle.
In a Twitter post, Raducanu revealed the funny scene to her fans. "Thirsty post workout & take a big glug of water... turns out it’s sparkling," Raducanu tweeted.

Raducanu has been working hard in recent weeks
In recent weeks, Raducanu has been working extremely hard in the gym.
Raducanu had an injury-plagued 2022 season so one of the top offseason priorities is to get stronger ahead of the new season. This offseason, Raducanu has been working with Andy Murray's ex-strength and conditioning coach Jez Green.
Anne Keothavong, the British Billie Jean King Cup team captain, recently gave a very promising fitness update on Raducanu. “She’s looking pretty fit and strong and I think the work she’s put in over the last few weeks, you can see it.
It’s good that she’s investing the time into it. I think she recognises it’s an area she needed to work on and improve and she’s doing it. Wrist injuries are never easy, but I think this one is under control.
She’s got good people around her. I think she will be a stronger player come next year”. Even though Raducanu is looking better physically, she wasn't ready to represent Great Britain at the Billie Jean King Cup in Glasgow this week.
However, Keothavong had no problems with Raducanu skipping the event as she underlined that the 19-year-old did her best to be ready for Glasgow. "She did everything to be fit for Glasgow but it wasn’t going to happen.
It was evident when she went on court and tried hitting a few balls that she was going to need more time," Keothavong said of Raducanu missing the BJK Cup Finals.
