Paula Badosa practiced with Stefanos Tsitsipas' brother Petros and confirmed her troublesome back is showing signs of improvement ahead of the US Open. On Tuesday, Badosa practiced with her boyfriend's younger brother. After practice, Badosa - who hasn't played since retiring injured her Wimbledon second-round match due to a stress fracture in her spine - provided a positive update on her back injury.

Also, Badosa jokingly said practicing with Tsitsipas' brother is a part of the "Tsitsidosa" deal. “Yes, absolutely. If I date Stef, then I get Petros as a practice partner," Badosa told Blair Henley.

In early June, Badosa and Tsitsipas officially confirmed their relationship.

Since then, Tsitsipas has spoken several times about how Badosa positively impacts his life and tennis. In his first tournament after Wimbledon, Tsitsipas won Los Cabos. After winning Los Cabos, Tsitsipas revealed his "biggest dream" is to one day see him and Badosa being ranked together at No 1 on the ATP and WTA rankings lists.

"I honestly don't even mind if she beats me. I want her to beat me. That means she's getting better, and I want her to have an incredible career and reach world No 1. And my biggest dream of all is for us to do it together. To be world No.

1 one day together, I think I can truly say that I have fulfilled my biggest, deepest desire in tennis to not just have done it myself but to have done it with a person who will be there for me for the rest of my life," Tsitsipas said.

Meanwhile, Badosa has been dealing with a back injury since Rome. After being forced to skip the French Open, Badosa didn't want to also miss Wimbledon but it was evident that she wasn't anywhere near her best physically at The Championships. Hopefully, Badosa won't experience any further problems with her back at the US Open.
