WTA Kremlin Cup: Carla Suarez-Navarro says she had to be 100% to win

25 year old Carla Suarez-Navarro felt that she needed to be at her best against home girl Vera Dushevina to begin her campaign in Moscow. The Spanish player, seeded sixth in the event, concluded the encounter winning in straight sets 6-4 6-3 after an hour and 19 minutes.

Considering all the elements present for their match-up, including the fact that it was the first meeting between the two, Suarez-Navarro said: "She (Dushevina) has already played 3 qualifying matches here, so she was well adjusted to the surface. I needed to be 100% to win today.
