World No. 1 Iga Swiatek sent out a classy message to Aryna Sabalenka, congratulating one of her biggest rivals on "an impressive" Australian Open triumph.

On Saturday, 25-year-old Sabalenka lifted her second Grand Slam title after ousting Zheng Qinwen 6-3 6-2 in the Australian Open final. En route to defending her Australian Open title, Sabalenka was pretty impressive and ruthless as the Belarusian did not drop a single set at Melbourne Park this year.

Swiatek, who was regarded as one of the top favorites for the Australian Open title, saw her campaign shockingly come to an end in the third round with a loss to Linda Noskova. While it was a disaster of the Australian Open for Swiatek, it didn't prevent her from issuing a classy message to Sabalenka.

"Congrats @SabalenkaA on 2nd title in Australia, impressive!" Swiatek wrote on X.

Responding to the congratulatory message, Sabalenka wrote: "Thank you Iga."

After successfully defending her Australian Open title and improving to two Major titles, 25-year-old Sabalenka admitted she was "speechless" but overwhelmed by positive emotions.

"I'm speechless right now. I don't know how to describe my emotions. But definitely I'm super, super happy and proud of everything I was able to achieve so far."

A morning after clinching her second Grand Slam title at the Australian Open, Sabalenka took to X to reveal that everything was still feeling surreal to her.

"Still can’t believe it," Sabalenka wrote.

After struggling for years to become a Grand Slam champion and at times fearing she would never accomplish her biggest dream, Sabalenka lifted two Major titles in 12 months.

When it comes to the top of the women's game, Swiatek still leads the pack with four Grand Slams while Sabalenka now follows with two Majors. Elena Rybakina and Coco Gauff, who also became Slam champions in the last few years, stay at one Major.

In the remainder of the year, there is no doubt that Sabalenka will be hungry for more Slam success.
