The Belarusian, who lost against Mirra Andreeva in the quarter-finals of Roland Garros, missed the media press due to severe stomach pains

Concern and fear for Aryna Sabalenka, at the end of the quarterfinal match at Roland Garros. The Belarusian tennis player, defeated in three sets by the young rising star Mirra Andreeva, canceled the press conference due to a sudden illness. A match played in total suffering, due to stomach problems, which prevented Aryna from competing to the best of her ability in the match valid for access to the semi-finals of Roland Garros.

The pain in her stomach did not cease in the minutes following the match, so much so that Sabalenka was forced to cancel her press conference. At the end of the match, Sabalenka immediately went to the tournament's medical staff to try to solve her problems. During the challenge with Andreeva, Aryna also drank Coca-Cola precisely with the aim of improving the situation. The Roland Garros organizers will publish any declarations on the official website.

"Aryna Sabalenka is unable to take part in the post-match press conference tonight due to an ailment and is with the tournament medical team. The WTA communications team will provide Aryna's statements which will be transcribed and uploaded to RG media," said the tournament board in a statement.

The Belarusian player tried to find her balance even in an extreme situation like the one she experienced yesterday, but the overtaking attempts had to deal with the firm opposition of a predestined player ready to write her own story.
