Tennis - Former world no. 1 Ana Ivanovic moved into the second round of the WTA Monterrey Open on Tuesday after overcoming a slow start. Ivanovic, the no. 2 seed this week, lost the first set 6-4 to Poland's Urszula Radwanska but then bounced back to win the next two sets 6-3, 6-3.
The Serb is currently ranked no. 13 in the world and since reaching the quarter-finals of the Australian Open in January, she has a modest 5-4 record. For Radwanska, sister of world no. 3 Agnieszka, it was the fourth loss in a row on the tour.
She will next meet Canada's Aleksandra Wozniak, who beat M. Zacarias in the first round in three sets.
