Tennis - Australian Open finalist Dominika Cibulkova has revealed that she goes every off-season to the spa town of Piestany in her native Slovak Republic where she spends one week in the waters which has healing sulphuric mud.
In an interview with The Independent, “I always go there in October and November when I have some time off. They have this special water. It looks like a swimming pool but it smells like eggs. It’s not a nice smell.
It’s very hot. You have this mud on the bottom. Then you walk in it and you put it on your body. It’s good for the muscles, the bones, the whole body. “It’s mostly older people who go there. I am always the youngest person there.
You can also drink the water but it doesn’t taste good. I don’t drink it. I don’t like it.” You can read the full interview here.
