World no. 3 Agnieszka Radwanska wins first round in French Open

Tennis: World no. 3 Agineszka Radwanska kicked off with a straight sets 6-3 6-0 win against China's Shuai Zhang in the first round of the 2014 French Open. On the day 1 of the Championship, The Polish player was first on the court and was not troubled at all by the Chinese player, who had reached the Quarterfinals of the Madrid Open less than 2 weeks back.

Radwanska, who had reached the Quarterfinals of the French Open for the first time last year, did not let Zhang hold a single service game in whole match. Although she was broken 3 times in the first set, Radwanska broke Zhang 5 times to take the first set 6-3 in 41 minutes.

In the second set, 2012 Wimbledon finalist, Radwanska was in lot more control and did not give any chance to Zhang. She broke Zhang 3 times and held all her serves to win the set 6-0 in 21 minutes and progressed into the next round.

She will face the winner of France's Mathilde Johansson and Czech Republic's Karolina Pliskova in the second round.
