World No. 100 Anna-Lena Friedsam reaches final of the WTA Suzhou Ladies Open

Tennis - Top seeded Jana Cepelova, of Slovakia, was knocked out of the semi-final of the WTA Suzhou Ladies Open by fourth seed Anna-Lena Friedsam on Friday. Friedsam, the fourth seed, needed only 74 minutes to complete the 6-4, 6-3 win and reach the biggest final of her career so far.

She will meet local favourite Duan Ying-Ying for the title on Saturday. The 20-year-old German is currently ranked no. 100 in the world. Duan came from a set down to beat Misa Eguchi 2-6, 6-3, 6-2. Doubles - Semifinals
