Samatha Stosur wins third title in Osaka, second in a row

Tennis: The most successful player in Japan Women's Open WTA tournament in Osaka, Samantha Stosur has won the title for the third time by beating first time WTA finalist Zarina Diyas in straight sets 7-6 (7), 6-3. This is Stosur's 6th WTA title of the career, and half of them have come in Osaka.

The Australian also won titles here in 2009 and 2013, ended up runner-up in 2011. She has reached 20 WTA finals, four times in Osaka. 20-year-old Diyas broke Stosur in first game of the match and held her next 4 services to go 5-3 up.

Then Stosur made a comeback and held her serve to make it 5-4 and then broke Diyas to level it at 5-5. Both held next service games to force the set into the tie-break. In the tie-break Diyas had set points at 6-5 and 7-6, but she could not finish it.
