Tennis: The former world No.1 and 5-time Grand Slam champion Martina Hingis has edged the current World No.6 Agnieszka Radwanska in the women's singles match in the Champions Tennis League (CTL). Hingis was representing Hyderabad Aces whereas Radwanska was playing for Pune Marathas in a very important clash, as the winner will play Delhi Dreams in the final.
It was a very important match in the tie as well, because it was level at one match a piece and 9 games all after first two matches. In the first match Mark Philippoussis had beaten Pat Cash 6-3 whereas in the second match Radwanska and Marcos Baghdatis won 6-3 against Hingis and Mikhail Youzhny. Radwanska broke Hingis twice in the match, but the Swiss broke the Pole three times, as she won 6-4 and gave Hyderabad 15-13 lead over Pune.
